If the art Center cancels a course or changes the scheduled time of a course, thus preventing a student from attending, the Art Center will offer a full refund to the student. If a student withdraws from a 5 or 10-week course before the session begins, tuition will be refunded, less a $30 processing fee. If a student drops a 10-week course any time between the first and fifth week of classes, the Art Center will retain a $30 processing fee plus half the tuition cost. If a student withdraws from a 10-week course after the fifth week of classes there is no tuition refund (no processing fee will be charged).

Not attending a class does not constitute an official withdrawal from a course or cancellation of tuition or fees. The Art Center reserves the right to charge such processing fees and adjusted tuition payments to the credit card numbers given. The Art Center also reserves the right to return tuition payments with HPAC checks, even if the student paid by credit card. Tuition refund payments will be processed and mailed to the students within two weeks from the date the student notifies the office of a course withdrawal.

Workshops (Shorts) and Days Off School programs: Full tuition will be refunded if HPAC cancels the program. However, if a student wishes to cancel their registration they must do so one week in advance in order to receive a full refund. Cancellations with less than seven days notice or no shows are non-refundable and the full tuition will be charged.
