This course is designed for students with oil or acrylic painting experience. Students will push the boundaries of their creative comfort level and learn to use their whole body while working on 4x5 ft or larger canvas. Students will explore size-to-scale relationships by creating landscapes, figurative, and abstract compositions and experiment with new tools and techniques. Class discussion will be included along with art historical references brought in for inspiration and study. A mid-term mini class critique will be followed by an end-of-term critique and celebration party! Expansion
