Heads, Hands, and Feet

This expansion level course is designed for students with beginning level drawing experience. Using the figure as model and self portraiture, students will focus on what always seem to be the most intimidating areas of figurative drawing to finish. Students will study the physical anatomy as a path to understanding how to render the head, hands, and feet. Art historical works will be incorporated into classes and students will produce several one-sitting drawings in pencil, charcoal, and brush and ink. Expansion.
