This exploration class is open for students with no previous knowledge or experience in painting and drawing. Students will learn technique specific to with this wax-based medium and explore different outcomes through image transfer, collage, painting, drawing, printing, and inlays as they create a small collection of finished works. Students will also investigate encaustic painting in art history. Exploration
