This class will explore the social and aesthetic aspects of documentary photography through an examination of method, concept, and history. Topics include historical and contemporary conflict photography, personal history, science and the camera, and more. Students will develop a documentary project that will culminate in the production of a portfolio, slideshow, or book of images. Both digital and manual cameras welcome in the class. Foundation
